HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PAST WEEK:
Friday was the day! met Sheryl Z for a while. :D oh yayyyy ! played the piano and then we ganged up against Fifi. she kena from us like mad. hahahaha. so while the two of us were looking at the videos of the piano recordings, we opened the convo we had with Fifi and suddenly we saw this white thing ! OHMYGOD it was hilarious although we freaked out at first. Sheryl Z thought it was a ghost for once. LOL. Fifi prayed infront of the webcam lah that girl. Sheryl Z and i kept laughing THROUGHOUT. in other words, we watched her pray. hahahaha.
Saturday: woke up at 6.45 and I was tempted to NOT go for the music exchange. everybody thought we're going to St. Hilda's Sec but in the end we went to WoodGrove Sec. HAHAHAHA. miscommunication man. apparently St. Hilda's and WoodGrove have the same instructor so yeah. was the first band to go. and i felt memories flooding back. Isalina and I were like discussing about where we sat and stuff. damn. as usual, there would be mingling session with the other bands and the whole clarinet section was like seating together. me: eh go and mingle lah. go make friends ! why you all sit here ! anti-social ah ? the whole clarinet section: (looks at me) huhhh dont want ahh. isalina: if last time we all go alr me: YEAHH. hahaha fun what. go lahhh. anyway my dear clarinet section, i've told you alr. and if you all read this again, please rmbr to play louder during the melody. it has to come out alot more. if the other band that has 5 clarinetist can do it, i dont see why you all cant okay ! on the way back, Isalina and I decided to try to play the clarinet. see whether still can play or not. HAHAHA. it sounded airy at first. but it sounded okay after a while :D OH YES ! and we still rmbred fingerings. although at times we asked each other for confirmation. HAHAHAHA. anyway we tried playing a little of the 2007 SYF piece and holy cow still can rmbr man. practice too much last time alr HAHAHA. a few of our flute juniors who was there for the 2007 SYF also joined in and played with us :D played a bit of Queen's Park and tried to play this years set and choice piece. it was fun and now i miss playing it ! highlight would be when Haslina talked to me. Haslina: you know, I still rmbr last time you were the one who taught me how to play. Me: REALLY ?! how come i cannot remember. Haslina: yes it was you. it was a very nice memory! :) Me: wahh okay. and to think that now she is the Band Commandant ! :D Haslina: last year i cried like how you cried before also. the FIRST thing that came to my mind was "OMG you all rmbr i cried?" and the FIRST thing i asked her was Me: got scolded like shit from Sir right ? Haslina: yeahhh. ohmygosh. but i guess it has become a norm for people to cry in band. i bet like 90% did. :/ fastforward: grandparent's house at night was fun. Grandad, Khair and I shared a tub of ice-cream. hahaha. the 3 of us just ate directly from the tub cos there was very little left ! no point scooping. then we watched The Best Of Saturday Night Live, Who's Line Is It Anyway ? and told jokes all over again :D okay. that should be abt it. its 2.30am now and i need to wake up for a run at 7.15am tmr ! goodness. |
